I began my acting journey at just 9 years old in stage school, where I was introduced to the basics of performance. However, it was at 15 that my passion for acting truly took off. I became heavily involved in every aspect of my school’s theater productions, working my way up to lead roles our shows such as Tracy in Hairspray, Miss Hannigan in Annie Jr and Paulette/ Chutney in Legally Blonde Jr to name a few.

 

Around this time, I also began formal acting exams, earning distinctions in both my LAMDA Grade 7 Musical Theatre and Grade 8 Acting exams, achievements that boosted my confidence and skill.

I soon moved into teaching, sharing my knowledge by coaching acting and LAMDA students for three years. This teaching role was incredibly rewarding, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the craft while helping others discover their talents. After this period, I decided to shift my focus towards film, inspired by a desire to see the many sides of production. To gain experience, I began working as an extra on various film sets, where I could observe the intricate process of filmmaking firsthand.

Despite the new focus, I’ve kept performing close to my heart by joining panto productions over the past two years, a way to keep my love for live performance alive in a fun, community-driven setting.  From playing a headless ghost in the Mansion House in Dublin to playing a dancing elf in Weston Airport, I really have broadened my casting type. Through all these experiences, from acting to teaching, to stepping behind the scenes, I’ve gained a well-rounded perspective on the world of performance, both on stage and behind the camera.
